In the age of emptiness

Two wills always collide

Flying in an empty ship

Unmanned turbulent ride


Barreling straight ahead

Engaging in defensive measures

Blowing up ourselves again 

We must stop and defy


Come rise against!

The feeding of these lies 

Unless you wholly do prefer 

To spend your life living hell

Now rise…resist!

Evil exists resides within 

Until we love it will persist 

Go get yourself aligned

Then rise against!


Wars are waging on towards

No warnings given when

The future is uncertain 

And precariously grim


No mistaking what we’re making

Every single death is excess

unjust and sacrilege 

We must confess


Come rise against!

The feeding of these lies

Holding all our governments to task

Fails to ask “Who’s staring in the mirror back at us disguised as them?”


All my aspirations must begin to to turn the bend

And look into a new direction

There's no us and them
