Hungry Ghosts

When all your feelings die

The tears are dried up from the eyes

There’s something carries on

The anchor is untied

Another moon arises

In the sky reflecting lies and light

Then the spirit wisps away

All their travel plans are redirected

between dimensions

Punched with karma stamps

The tickets have been fined

Violence lives in people

It comes from grieving

They can’t live without you

A trifling disease of feeling alone

They’re tired of dealing

Blind led…senseless evil

Souls are stealing

A hunger’s feeding on

They’re eating all they know

They’re empty…

Hungry ghosts

When all our deeds are tallied

At the end our breath is final

And the sentence is you’re bound to purgatory

When you ran afoul

Your moral ground was shaking round and round

Alleging what you hear

Violence lives in people

It comes from grieving

They can’t live without you

A trifling disease of feeling alone

They’re tired of dealing

Blind led…senseless evil

Souls are stealing

A hunger’s feeding on

They’re eating all they know

They’re empty…

Hungry ghosts

Haunting misbehavers’

Cards are dealing hands

Causes are mischievous

Thoughtless are damned
