The Next Generation Of Love

Blink your eyes

Now open up

Here’s a surprise

I didn't realize I needed you

Prayers that I had

I asked you for sign

To show the way alight

Just help me to view

On an Earth so crazy

All I saw was rain

But then you came to me

To give me hope again

You gave me hope again

The next generation of Love’s coming

Heading head first for the starting line

The next generation of Love’s coming now

The new sensational sun’s gunning

To be a star lighting up the sky

The next generation of Love’s coming ‘round

All around

I never visualized another world where you arrived

But now I'm grinning wide since I met you

Were you in disguise

Awaiting patiently

While I was busy killing time

Searching the Universe

On this spinning planet

All I knew was pain

But you've shown to me

There so much more to gain

More for me to gain

The next generation of Love’s coming

Heading head first for the starting line

The next generation of Love’s coming now

The new sensational sun’s gunning

To be a star lighting up the sky

The next generation of Love’s coming ‘round

All around

You've travelled many miles

To deliver me your smiles

Why are you afraid Son, I keep calling out your name Been trying to show my face....still you look the other way And all the signs I gave you...I put them on display I'll follow you to the grave I signed an agreement with you when "I" made you All your symbols and meaningless beliefs are fine All your temples and churches aren't needed though it's alright Separation anxiety is what you're feeling inside Why are you afraid Son, I keep calling out your name Been trying to show my face....still you look the other way And all the signs I gave you...I put them on display I'll follow you to the grave I signed an agreement with you when "I" made you "I" created your mind..."I" painted you in harmony with the sacred Divine When "I" gave y...
