​You taught me everything wrong 

Been living my whole life

Always thinking i wasn't good enough 


On eggshells walking around

Hoping I don’t cause a sound

Always fearing retribution 


Was kept on a razor's edge

You controlled my every step 


You are the gatekeeper

A gaslighting soul stealer

You will eat your own lies

With a slice of humble pie


You shatter all dreams

Infecting everyone with poisonous

Deceiful beliefs 

and your narcissistic choices

You told me I was the problem 

That I could never do things right

And when i did you'd always tear me down


So instead I learned to stay quiet

Pushing all my feelings 

Was accused of spotlight stealing


Your manipulating hand

Losing grip around my neck


You are the gatekeeper
